For a single, one time collection, use a Payment Link.
Click Create payment in the sidebar. Select Payment link.
Select your customer
Choose from your existing customers or click Invite new customer to add someone new. If it's a new customer who hasn't signed a mandate yet, they'll receive the mandate link first. Once they sign, the payment processes automatically.
Fill in the details
Enter a payment description (what the payment is for) and the amount in GBP.
Choose how to collect
Direct Debit - Collected from their bank account. The earliest available date is 3 business working days from today. Or choose a specific date.
Instant bank pay - Open banking. The payment is processed and paid out to you instantly via faster payments.
Click Create payment. You'll see a confirmation showing the amount, customer, and that the customer has been notified.
