Split payment lets you break a large amount into smaller, scheduled collections. Ideal for project work, phased services, or payment plans.

Click Create payment in the sidebar. Select Split payment.

Select your customer

Choose an existing customer or invite a new one.

Fill in the details

Enter what it's for (description) and the total amount to collect in GBP.

Choose how to collect

Direct Debit - Collected from their bank account.

Instant bank pay - Open banking, processed instantly.

Set the schedule

Choose a collection frequency: Monthly or Custom. Then choose the number of instalments: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 12.

If you choose Custom, you get full control. Set the exact date and amount for every single instalment. The form tracks your Total, Allocated, and Remaining amounts so you always know where you stand.

For example, a £10,000 project could be split as: £1,000 in April, £1,000 in May, £1,000 in June, £154 in July, £5,000 in August, and £1,846 in September. Completely flexible.

Click Continue to review the full payment schedule.

Then click Create payment to confirm.
